Friday Ramblings

Heeeyyyy oh and welcome to Friday! I have so many things I wanted to chat with you all about that I thought I'd just post a rambling one today! But let's see here... where to begin .

Making a Murderer - Per usual I'm one of the last to jump on the band wagon for popular TV shows but you guys, this is such a crazy series. I may end up binge watching a lot of this weekend as Zach is also hooked and wanting to keep watching. We're only on episode 3 so shhh don't spoil anything ;)

The W position- Lily has always had both of her foot pointed in. I only began noticing her walking issues when she first started to walk on her own. Now that she's able to run, I may take her to a specialist on helping to help find various ways to allow her feet to point out instead of in. This article really made me think of her sitting as well and every time she starts to sit in this 'w' position, I correct it. Of course, just sitting like this all the time isn't going to cause huge concerns in her development but I'd like to monitor to it as close as I can.

Home Organization Challenge - I'll be following this home challenge starting tomorrow! If anyone else wants to join let me know! This will help keep my sanity and my focus on what I want to get done and I can't wait to see what you do as well! Be sure to follow me on Instagram to see what I've accomplished

Mom Link Up- Those of you on Instagram, I have a fun linkup coming Monday, the 11th! Of course it does pertain to Mom's but those of you that want to join the fun, I want you to put your 2 cents in as well. I know it's a bit of a general statement but if you follow my IG you'll get more info coming soon! It'll be exciting!

Anxiety- I'll be talking a bit more about this next week in a separate post for those of you who also may suffer from this too. It's a ramble I know but just know that if you're feeling anxious you're not alone. If you feel you need to chat, you can always email me and I'd love for you to reach out!

Wishing you all lots of fun this weekend! What are your plans for the weekend? Are you going to start the challenge with me? Do you feel anxious a lot and if so, how do you cope?

  5. OMG, Making a Murderer! My husband and I are sooo loving it! We as well are only on the 3rd episode, and I can't wait to watch more. It's defiantly addicting! My 2 year old also walked with her feet pointed in. I did find that a really good pair of shoes has helped her quite a bit. The only thing is the shoes are pricey. I'm finding you on Instagram now!! Thanks for stopping by my blog this morning, I can't wait to read more of yours!!

I will definitely read up on it this weekend and see if it will fit into my schedule - my craft room is a whole project on it's own! I'm not a mom, but I play one 4 days a week (I'm a Nannie to 4 kids...LOL)I will find you on Instagram and see if I can play along :)Have a great weekend!

  9. That W position man! I try to correct my 2 year old on it too, but she still does it ALL. THE. TIME. My mom told me I was being paranoid. Glad to know I'm not the only one who is concerned!

  10. After you left me a comment, I had to come over and check out your blog…I am so glad I did! I can't wait to read your posts about anxiety. I have dealt with anxiety for years…and over time I have learned that so many people suffer from it. I'm so glad to see people speak about their experiences rather than hide it as if it something to be ashamed of!

  12. Making a Murderer - amazing! I finished it last night & it really hits me as I'm about two hours away from Manitowoc & I remember the disappearance of Teresa. It really got me thinking & I talked about in this post: http://badbrewpack.blogspot.com/2016/01/tuesday-talk.html.

I will for sure come back to see what you have to say about anxiety as I too suffer from it & I'd love to see what words of wisdom you have. :)

  26. Hi! I found your blog from a comment you left on mine. :) I keep hearing about Making a Murderer and low and behold, I find it on your blog too! Guess it's a sign that it's pretty good and I should start watching it, huh? I will have to add it to my queue. The idea of the home challenge sounds awesome! I night follow along to see how it goes. I'm generally a neat freak and not a pack rat but I'm sure I can pick up some other tips. Have a great weekend!
